He received the title of Africa Influential Leader, along with a Certificate of Honour and a commemorative plaque.
The awards are organised by The Business Executive and were held under the theme “Recognizing the People Determining Africa’s Socio-Economic Direction.” They recognise leaders from across the continent for their contribution to Africa’s growth and development.
The recognition
The award recognises Dr. Mohamed’s “exceptional leadership, remarkable achievements, and valuable contribution to the growth and development of Africa.” Presented to him as Executive Director of PHASE, it also acknowledged PHASE and the communities it serves.
Leadership at PHASE
Dr. Mohamed leads PHASE’s strategic direction, partnerships, and programme delivery. Under his leadership, PHASE works with communities across Somalia on programmes that strengthen livelihoods, expand access to essential services, and build local capacity for lasting change. What the recognition means for PHASE

” I am honoured to receive this recognition, and I accept it on behalf of everyone at PHASE. This award belongs to our staff, our partners, and the communities who trust us to work alongside them every day. It strengthens our commitment to deliver practical, accountable results that empower people across Somalia.”
